At least two people were killed, and five were wounded in recent violence:

In Amara, gunmen killed a police officer working in the anti-corruption section.

The body of a man was found in Sinjar.

Three militiamen were injured in a bombing in Dour.

In Baghdad, gunmen wounded a government employee.

A bomb in Muqdadiya wounded a retired teacher.
