Gunmen stormed the home of a Sahwa official, killing two siblings and wounding another relative, in Buhriz. A bomb left at the scene killed a policeman and wounded four more when they arrived minutes later. One sibling was kidnapped, and four suspects were captured.
In Baquba, a roadside bomb injured a civilian. Two policemen were shot dead. Gunmen killed a civilian.
An armed attacked in Khalis left a security guard dead and another three wounded.
A clash left one militant dead and two security personnel wounded in Adhaim. A Sahwa member was shot dead.
In Mosul, a suicide bomber was killed as he tried on an explosives vest.
