At least seven were killed, and two were wounded in recent violence:

Turkish airstrikes killed seven guerrillas during an operation targeting Kurdistan Workers’ Party members based in the Metina and Qandil areas of northern Iraq.

A bomb in Jurf al-Sakr left two militiamen with injuries.
