68 Killed across Iraq; Kurds Deporting Arabs from Territories

Kurdish authorities are banishing Arab Iraqis from Kurdish territory under the guise of expelling supporters of the Islamic State militants. It is unclear how widespread the program is, but many believe the Kurds are merely driving out as many Arabs as they can. Some of the deported Arabs say they were not allowed to prove their innocence.

Iraq has confirmed that the body of Brigadier General Rafid Mohammed Hassan was found after his plane crashed in the Arizona desert while training.

At least 68 were killed across Iraq:

Seventeen civilians were killed in an airstrike on Qayara.

Militants executed a doctor in Mosul. Unknown gunmen killed 14 militants.

In Bashir, shelling left a Turkmen security member dead. Airstrikes killed 35 militants.
