111 Killed in Iraq as Rumors Ignite Riot in Baghdad

In Baghdad, over 30 people were arrested after rumors of a suicide bomber triggered riots in Adhamiya; several buildings were set on fire, including one belonging to the Sunni Endowment.

At least 111 were killed and 45 were wounded:

Militants executed 20 employees of the prison at Badush.

Two booby-trapped cars left three security personnel dead and 27 wounded in al-Baghdadi.

Three Iraqi troops were wounded during clashes in Albu Tohma.

In Muqdadiya, gunmen killed a civilian.

A militant leader was killed, along with others, during airstrikes in Anbar province.

Peshmerga forces killed 34 militants in Tal Seiv.

In Garma, 17 militants were killed.

Peshmerga forces killed 15 militants in Sinjar.

Security forces in al-Salam killed 12 militants and wounded 15 more.

Eight militants were killed and 14 were wounded in Albu Shajal.

In Baiji and northern Tikrit, dozens of militants have been killed over the last week.
