Gunmen, Bombs Leave 15 Dead Across Iraq

At least 15 Iraqis were killed and seven more were wounded in scattered attacks. Soccer fans were again targeted.

Gunmen killed six members of a policeman’s family in Mussayab, as they were returning home from a wedding. The policeman, his wife, his mother and three children were killed.

In Mosul, a bomb killed two policemen. Three policemen were killed and another was wounded in a separate bombing.

An I.E.D. killed a policeman and wounded three more in Baiji.

Gunmen in Khalis killed a former army officer.

A civilian was slain during a home invasion in Shirqat.

Mortars injured three people in Balad Ruz.

In Rutba, a bomb killed a civilian as people gathered to celebrate the Iraqi soccer team’s advance to the semi-finals in the U-20 World Cup.
