Iraq Daily Roundup: 35 Killed in ISIS Bombing

At least 35 people were killed, and 61 were wounded in recent violence:
In Sadr City, an improvised explosive device blew-up at the Woheilat Market. At least 35 people were killed and over 60 were wounded. A number of shops burned down in the attack, which took place just ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday as many people were shopping. ISIS claimed responsibility.

Also, farmers and villagers in Duhok province complain that Turkish bombings against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.) are destroying their properties and livelihoods.

And, ten villages in Kirkuk province are reportedly under the control of the Islamic State militants. A lack of security personnel is blamed for the takeover.
