19 Killed across Iraq as Baghdad Suffers Bombings

Turkish warplanes bombed suspected Kurdistan Workers Party (P.K.K.) locations in Dohuk province.

A militia spokesman said that a total of 920 militants were killed during recent operations to liberate Baiji.

At least 19 were killed and 26 more were wounded:

In Baghdad, a blast in Saba’a al-Bour killed three people and wounded nine more. Two unidentified bodies were discovered.

Two people were killed and five more were wounded when a bomb exploded at a meat market in Madaen.

Mortars killed two people and wounded six in Khalidiya.

A bomb left next to a police vehicle in Tarmiya killed one policeman and wounded four more.

A woman was killed and two children were injured in Yusufiya, when a roadside bomb exploded.

In Noor, a retired soldier was shot dead.

Seven militants were killed in Saniya.
