36 Killed in Iraq; Embedded Journalist Wounded

At least 36 people were killed and 20 were wounded in the latest violence:

A photographer was seriously wounded when a roadside bomb exploded near Kirkuk. He was embedded with a Peshmerga convoy.

A roadside bomb near the village of Kubaiba killed a civilian and wounded five relatives.

Airstrikes on Makhmour killed 12 militants and wounded 14 more.

Eight militants were killed in Burwana.

In Mosul a bomb killed five militants.  A wali and his wife were killed in an airstrike.

Federal police killed five militants in Albu Jarad.

In Baghdadi, three militants were killed.
