In Baghdad, gunmen killed a Sahwa member, his wife, four sons, and a daughter in law at their home in Doura. A sticky bomb killed a lawyer.

Two people were killed and 12 more were wounded when gunmen attacked a bus carrying Shi’ite pilgrims in Balad.

In Mosul, a blast killed three policemen and wounded two more.  Gunmen killed the owner of a gold shop.

A bomb in Baiji killed three soldiers and wounded a fourth.
