The Bzeibez Bridge, which connects Baghdad with Anbar province, has been shut down again, preventing refugees from escaping the fighting further west.

A bomb at a produce market in Rashidiya killed three people and wounded five more.
In Baghdad, two people were killed in a drive-by shooting. Three people were killed and 26 were wounded in a bombing.
A bomb at a souk in Yusufiya left two dead.
In Balad Ruz, a sticky bomb on a vehicle killed one person and wounded another.
In Hawija, militants executed 40 of their own on charges of deserting the fight at Mtabijh.
Security forces killed 32 militants near Tikrit.
Four militants were killed in Albu Jawari.
