At least 19 Iraqis were killed and 53 more were wounded in fresh bloodshed. One bomber managed to find a soccer game to attack, while gunmen were able to kill several physicians in the capital.

The focus of today’s bloodshed was turned north towards Mosul. Overall, at least 19 Iraqis were killed, including a groom, and 61 more were wounded, including a bride.

Coordinated violence took place across Baghdad today, as bomb after bomb exploded in neighborhoods across the city. The bloodshed extended deep into Shi’ite southern Iraq, which has been relatively quiet compared to restive northern Iraq. Overall, at least 86 Iraqis were killed and 234 were wounded.

Although no soccer players or fans were reported among today’s casualties, one of the bombings targeted a cafe. In recent days, several cafes screening international soccer matches were the focus of bloodshed. Overall, at least 55 people were killed and 53 more were wounded today.

The now daily attacks against soccer players and soccer fans continued in Baghdad. This time a bomb targeted young people, all under the age of 16, playing in a field. Across the rest of the country, the usual random violence took place. Overall, at least 23 Iraqis were killed and 29 more were wounded.

For the fifth day in a row sports fans and players were targeted for bloodshed. All the attacks were either in the Baghdad area or in Diyala province. Police and Sahwa also saw losses. Overall, at least 28 Iraqis were killed and 51 more were wounded.

For the fourth day in a row, soccer players or fans were targeted in attacks in or near Baghdad. Today, bombers struck at a field just south of the capital. In the north, a funeral was targeted as well. Also, the number of deaths at a soccer event in Baquba yesterday doubled. Overall, at least 41 people were killed and 57 more were wounded.

At least 34 Iraqis were killed and 88 more were wounded across the country. Soccer fans were targeted yet again as they gathered in cafes across central Iraq to watch international games on television.

At least 23 people were killed and 32 more were wounded in fresh attacks. In Baghdad, ten people were killed and 16 more were wounded as they watched a soccer match on television, when a bomb exploded at a café in Doura. Six people were wounded in a blast in Suleikh....

Today’s attacks focused on a group of Turkmen demonstrators and football players. Shi’ite pilgrims and security officials were also targeted. At least 53 people were killed and 142 were wounded across the country.
