M.P. Vian Dakhil warned that thousands of Yazidis are leaving Iraq every month to live in Western countries. Dakhil, who is also Yazidi, said they are forced to leave due to delays in liberating their homes in northern Iraq. Other members of the minatory group have chosen to take up arms against the Islamic State militants instead.

In Tuz Khormato, a civilian was shot dead. A Turkmen militiaman was found dead.
A civilian was executed in Qaim.
Airstrikes in Albu Alwan and Albu Shagel left 24 militants dead and 36 wounded.
In Husayba, 30 militants were killed.
Airstrikes in Bartilla left 17 militants dead.
Peshmerga forces killed five militants in Nouran.
Three militants killed themselves accidentally while handling explosives in Mtabijh.
