Iraq is on high alert for revenge attacks following the news of Osama bin Laden’s death in Pakistan. Today’s attacks, whether in revenge or not, left 12 Iraqis dead and 28 more wounded.

Sunday: 8 Iraqis Killed, 20 Wounded
At least eight Iraqis were killed and 20 more were wounded in light violence. Again, some attacks appeared to be targeted assassinations. Also, while Iraqi celebrated Press Freedom Day, 30 reporters demanded more security for journalists in Kurdistan.
