Today, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a plan to arm Syrian rebels to fight against Islamic State. The rebels could draw some of the militants back into Syria from Iraq. Meanwhile, at least 178 were killed across Iraq, and another 95 were wounded.

At least 67 people were killed across Iraq today, and another 44 were wounded. Peshmerga troops liberated several villages in the north, while Iraqi airstrikes helped residents in Diyala.

Diplomats from 30 countries met in Paris today to discuss the Islamic State situation in Iraq. The Kurdish Peshmerga Ministry held its own meeting with representatives from seven countries. Attacks and battles left at least 86 dead and 22 wounded.

Despite Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi’s promise yesterday, that civilian locations would no longer suffer airstrikes, Falluja hospital has been bombed again. Still, he won an endorsement today from former P.M. Ayad al-Allawi. At least 42 people were killed and another 29 were wounded today.

At least 63 people were killed and 22 more were wounded across Iraq. Most of the victims were militants. Meanwhile, the prime minister ordered the military to stop bombing civilian neighborhoods, but the airstrikes continued.

At least 28 people, mostly civilians, were killed today as 56 more were wounded. Meanwhile, several partners in the war against the Islamic State clarified their roles in the conflict.

Bombers targeted Baghdad and several cities south of the capital. Airstrikes continued in the north and west. Overall at least 124 people were killed and 81 were wounded.

U.S. President Barack Obama spoke before the American public today about fighting the Islamic State in Iraq. Meanwhile, at least 228 people were killed or found dead today. Dozens were found in mass graves, perhaps even hundreds. Another 59 were wounded, mostly in Baghdad, where suicide bombers took their toll.

No major attacks were reported today; however, airstrikes against Islamic State militants continued. In one of those strikes, several policemen were accidentally killed. At least 65 people were killed and 13 more were wounded across the country.

The new government was sworn in today. Meanwhile, at least 85 people were killed today, and 173 more were wounded. Also, a U.N. envoy stressed the dire circumstances of the Iraqi children. At least 55 people were kidnapped by militants.
