At least six people were killed, and two more were wounded in recent violence:

Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.) guerrillas killed a Turkish soldier in northern Iraq.

A woman was injured when a bomb exploded in Hammam al-Alil.

In Tuz, gunmen wounded a militiaman.

Security forces in Tuz Khormato killed five militants.
