At least two people were killed, and three more were wounded in the latest violence:

Turkish strikes against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.) targets left one guerrilla dead in Avasin.

Gunmen in Zummar killed a shepherd.

A bomb wounded two federal policemen in Rashad.

A man was seriously wounded when he accidentally stepped on a landmine in Bradost, while he was out gathering plants.
