Iraq Daily Roundup: Six Killed, Including KDPI Leader

At least six people were killed, and another eight were wounded in recent violence:

An Iraq-based Iranian Kurdish separatist group, Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (K.D.P.I.), accused Iran of kidnapping and murdering one of its leaders. Central committee member, Mussa Babakhani, was found dead in an Erbil hotel room two days after his abduction.

An attack on a base in Nibai left one soldier dead and another wounded.

In Shirqat, an attack on a gas station left a security guard dead and a civilian wounded.

ISIS militants killed a soldier in Daquq.

A dumped body was found in an orchard near Abu Saida.

An award-winning bodybuilder died of wounds she received in a Dibis home invasion that her husband blames on ISIS militants. The attack took place two weeks ago.

At a fake checkpoint near Shirqat, militants wounded three people and kidnapped two others.

A blast in Tal Afar wounded two people.

In Kut, gunmen seriously wounded activist Qassem Bahloul Al-Tamimi in a shooting outside his home.
