At least six people were killed and one was wounded in recent violence:

Two intelligence officers were killed at Chinese Island in Salah ad Din province.

A bomb in Baiji killed two militia commanders.

In Baghdad, two bodies were recovered from the Tigris River.

A bomb in an orchard near Zaghnia wounded a farmer.
