More Bombs for Baghdad; 35 Killed across Iraq

Prime Minister-elect Justin Trudeau of Canada notified the United States that Canada will be withdrawing its planes from Iraq and Syria. No timeline was given, but Trudeau says that Canada will remain part of the Coalition. Also, Canadian trainers will remain in place assisting the Kurds.

At least 35 were killed and 37 were wounded:

In Baghdad, one person was killed and seven were wounded in a blast in Bab al-Sham. Gunmen killed one prison guard and wounded two more who were driving on a highway.

Three people were killed and seven were wounded by a bomb blast in Taji.

In Yusufiya, a bomb killed two security members and wounded nine more.

Three unidentified bodies were found in Daquq.

A bomb killed a militiaman in Albu Faraj.

Mortar shells in Mukhisa wounded three civilians.

Roadside bombs targeting a convoy carrying the governor of Diyala province through Baquba wounded two bodyguards.

Ten militants were killed during a strike on Khazar.

In Rashad, airstrikes left four militants dead and seven wounded.

At least six militants were killed in Hit.

At least four militants were killed during the liberation of Albu Juwari.
