Clashes Leave 145 Dead across Iraq

At least 145 were killed and 15 were wounded:

Security personnel triggered the explosives in a booby-trapped home in al-Hama, killing eight of them and wounding three more.

A mortar attacked killed two civilians and wounded nine more in Khalidiya. A suicide bomber killed two policemen, one a lieutenant major, and wounded three more.

Militants in Qayara executed a former candidate for office.

Residents of Kubeisa planted explosives at a home housing a militant official. He and two aides were killed.

In Tikrit, 55 militants were killed.

Twenty militants were killed in Tesqopa.

Missile strikes in Falluja killed 18 militants.

Security forces killed 12 militants, including females, in Husayba.

Eleven militants were killed in Fatha. Seven more were arrested while dressed as women.

In Falluja, seven militants were killed.

Tribal fighters in Shirqat killed five militants in an attack on their outpost.

A number of militants were killed in Samarra.
