72 Killed in Iraq Battles and Executions

At least 72 were killed and three were wounded.

In Ramadi, a bomb killed one civilian and wounded three more. Security forces killed four militants.

Five sheiks were executed in al-Ghazali after being kidnapped in Qayara.

In western Baghdad, a body was found. Another body was found in the east.

In Mosul, militants executed a journalist.

A sticky bomb killed the driver of a car near Baquba.

Police killed 31 militants in al-Suquor.

Seventeen militants were killed during strikes in Falluja.

Security forces killed ten militants near Samarra.

In Gwer, many militants were killed in airstrikes.
