Bloody Attacks Continue in Iraq: 56 Killed, 54 Wounded

Shelling killed 11 people and wounded four more in Falluja. Four militants were killed and five more were wounded in a military operation.

A suicide car bomber attacked a checkpoint in Ramadi, where he killed one policeman and wounded five more. Two militants were killed in a clash.

Gunmen in Hit killed a policeman and wounded two more.

In Mosul, two bodies were found dumped in a container. A bomb wounded two civilians. Nine people were wounded, including civilians, in a bomb blast. One soldier was killed and seven more were wounded in a blast.
