In Baghdad, a bomb killed one civilian and wounded four more in the Ubaidi neighborhood. Gunmen killed a civilian at a Mansour restaurant. A government employee was killed and his son was wounded in a sticky bomb blast. A sticky bomb killed another government employee.

Two gunmen were killed when they tried to attack policemen’s homes in Ameriya; one civilian was also killed and four more were wounded.

A roadside bomb in Jurf al-Sakhar killed three soldiers and wounded two more.

In Mosul, gunmen killed a soldier at his home. A bomb targeting a commander killed a taxi driver instead.

A farmer was gunned down in Baquba.

Gunmen killed a sheikh in Khalis.

Two civilians were wounded when gunmen fired upon their Muqdadiya home.

In Falluja, a clash left three SWAT agents and a child wounded. A bomb wounded a policeman.

A Haditha police officer was kidnapped while driving on a highway towards Baiji.
