Gunmen Attack Police As Baghdad Sees More Bombings, 22 Killed

At least 22 Iraqis were killed today, as 52 more were wounded. Another attack on police and government buildings occurred in Anbar province. This time the attackers targeted Falluja.

In Falluja, two suicide bombers left seven dead and 20 wounded. Two gunmen were killed after being discovered hiding in an apartment building. Three more were killed while in the electricity building.

In Baghdad, two people were killed and seven more were wounded in an I.E.D. explosion in Ubaidi. A hand grenade attack in Arifiya killed one Sahwa member and wounded four others.

A bomb in Tarmiya killed one civilian and wounded six others.

Gunmen killed a soldier and wounded two more in Dyom.

In Baiji, gunmen blew up a policeman’s home, killing the policeman and wounding three relatives.

A blast wounded five people, including a child, in a bombing at a Sahwa member’s home in Siniya.

In Tikrit, four soldiers were wounded in a shooting. A Sahwa member was shot dead. A sniper wounded a soldier.

Police killed a suicide attacker in Mandali.
