Dumped Bodies in Baghdad, 29 Killed Across Iraq

Few attacks occurred again today, but they resulted in more casualties. Also, dumped bodies were found in Baghdad, but it is unclear when they were killed. Overall, at least 29 people were killed and 54 were wounded.

Nine people were killed and 30 more were wounded in a bombing in Haswa.

In Ishaqi, gunmen killed a shop owner. As first responders gathered, three bombs exploded, killing five more people and wounding 18 others.

Ten dumped bodies were found shot and handcuffed in an abandoned building in Baghdad. Children found the victims, who were all young men.

In Mosul, gunmen killed a civilian inside his shop. Security forces killed an al-Qaeda leader. A bomb targeting the police commander killed a bodyguard and wounded two others.

A roadside bomb killed one person and wounded another in Balad.

A car bomb in Kirkuk wounded a police colonel and two family members.

Gunmen killed an army lieutenant in Rashad.

Clashes without casualties were reported in Jazira.
