Scattered Attacks Leave 14 Killed Across Iraq

In Shirqat, gunmen killed a policeman, his wife, and two sons. Ten people were wounded in a blast.

Gunmen killed a Sahwa leader and two sons in Jumhurriya. Another son was able to kill two gunmen.

A blast in Hit left one soldier dead and five more wounded.

A political candidate was assassinated outside his Falluja home.

A Sahwa member was killed in Diyala province.

A sticky bomb killed a civilian in Balad. A policeman was also reported killed in a sticky bombing.
