Iraq Protest Organizer and 2 Councilmen Among 6 Killed

At least six Iraqis were killed and seven more were wounded across the country. A protest organizer and two councilmen were gunned down. Another councilman was wounded.

In Baquba, three people were wounded in a blast. A farmer was shot to death. At least two more people were wounded.

Gunmen killed a protest organizer as he was driving in Kirkuk. Bunyan Sabar al-Obeidi escaped a similar assassination attempt two weeks ago.

A man was shot dead in Iskandariya.

Gunmen killed a Sahwa member in al-Seniya.

In Hit, a councilman was gunned down.

Gunmen killed a councilman from Rawa.

A council chairman was wounded as he was leaving a mosque in Rutba.

A bomb targeting a vegetable truck in Hilla wounded its driver.
