Iraq Attacks: 14 Killed

Thursday: 14 Killed, 15 Wounded.

A number of attacks across Iraq left 14 dead and 15 wounded.

In Mosul, armed clashes left one soldier dead and another wounded. A bomb killed two policemen and wounded a third one in al-Eiaydhia. A Kurdish man was shot dead. In al-Shura, a blast killed two policemen and wounded one more.

A clash in Yathrib left two Sahwa and a gunman dead. Two more gunmen were wounded.

Gunmen stormed a home in Hammam Alil, where they killed a policeman and his brother who serves on the House Speaker’s protection team.

A farmer was killed and seven others were wounded when two bombs blasted the agricultural truck they were traveling through Dujail in.

Gunmen killed a farmer at an Abu Saida orchard.

A civilian was gunned down in Kirkuk.

In Tikrit, gunmen wounded two Sahwa members.

A government employee was seriously wounded during a sticky bomb explosion in Awja.

Mortars left no casualties in Abu Ghraib.

Turkish warplanes destroyed an irrigation project in Dahuk.
