Christian Among 8 Killed in Iraq

At least eight Iraqis were killed and nine more were wounded in light violence. One of the victims was a Christian person.

Four security personnel were killed and six more were wounded as they tried to defuse a bomb in Madaen.

In Mosul, one woman was killed and two other people were wounded in crossfire. One policeman was shot dead at a checkpoint. A roadside bomb targeted a military patrol; its blast wounded one soldier. The body of a Christian who was kidnapped three days ago was recovered.

Gunmen killed an off-duty policeman in Qayara.
