Scattered Attacks Continue in Kirkuk, Diyala; 27 Killed in Iraq

At least 27 people were killed, and 16 more were wounded in recent attacks:

An ISIS attack on Umm al-Hunttah left three civilians dead and four wounded. Three militants were also killed. A fourth one may have blown himself up.

The number of casualties in yesterday’s Baghdad bombing rose by eight dead and three injured to a total of 15 killed and 19 wounded.

In Basra, gunmen killed three people.

Six militiamen were wounded in Abbasi when they surrounded eight suicide bombers who detonated their explosives.

Near Rashad, a roadside bomb wounded three militiamen.

A militant was killed in Baaj.

In other news: Iraqi fighters jets continued bombing Islamic State targets in Syria.
