A bomb exploded at an Iskandariya cemetery just as a family was visiting. A civilian man was killed and four relatives were wounded. Many Iraqis visit gravesites during the Eid holiday.

In Baquba, two policemen were wounded in separate small arms attacks. A landmine explosion outside town wounded a woman and small child.
Baghdad is under a special security operation for the Eid. Two soldiers were wounded in a blast in Yarmouk.
Ninewa province has tightened security for the Eid holiday.
An arms cache was confiscated in Mussayab. A wanted man was captured separately.
In Shatra, 31 suspects were detained.
