Bombings Continue in Baghdad; 81 Killed across Iraq

According to International Organization for Migration, the number of internally displaced Iraqis has now surpassed three million. About 20 percent of the refugees are in living arrangements that are considered “critical.”

At least 81 people were killed and 82 more were wounded:

In Baghdad, a bomb killed 18 and wounded 36 more in the Bayaa district. Eight people were killed and 22 were wounded in a bombing in Shabb.

Clashes in Albu Haiyat left six security personnel dead and nine wounded. Airstrikes after the battle left five militants dead and 13 wounded.

Four soldiers were killed and two militiamen were wounded during clashes in Saqlawiya.

In Mosul, two young men were executed. An airstrike killed 22 militants.

Unknown assailants killed two militiamen in Ilam.

Fourteen militants were killed in clashes in Juba.
