Iraq Daily Roundup: Seven Killed

Seven people were killed, and five more were wounded in recent violence:

Clashes in the Hamrin Mountains left three soldiers dead and three more wounded. Three militants were also killed. During these ongoing operations, security personnel discovered the body of a kidnapping victim and a second victim who was wounded. Also, a video was released purporting to show the death of a high-ranking official who was kidnapped recently in the Hamrin area.

Gunmen wounded an intelligence office in Diwaniya.
