At least six people were killed:

Five Iraqi servicemembers were killed when their helicopter was shot down near Amerli during a military operation. The helicopter crew was inspecting high-voltage power lines when they were struck.

In Hilla, gunmen killed a man.

Also, a little-known group, Qasem al-Jabarin, carried out an attack on a Coalition convoy in southern Iraq.

And, two Katyusha rockets landed in Baghdad’s Green Zone, apparently targeting the U.S. or other embassies. No casualties were reported.
