ISIS members attacked the Tarmiya home of a tribal fighter, where they killed him and his mother.

A soldier was killed in clashes near Mount Sinjar and the Syrian border. It is unclear if two groups attacking the soldiers were working together.

In Najaf, security forces wounded 20 protesters as they tried to storm a government building. Two security personnel were also wounded.

A bomb in Qayara wounded two people.
