At least three people were killed, and seven more were wounded in the latest violence:
An attack on an oilfield Kirkuk left one guard dead and five wounded. One guard was killed, and two more were wounded, during an attack at the same checkpoint in the last week.
In Rutba, Coalition forces killed one militant and arrested another.
