At least seven people were killed, and nine more were wounded:

Two policemen were killed, and two more were wounded, when a bomb exploded in Daquq.

A gunman shot dead two people in Kut.

In Baghdad, bombs wounded seven people in the Ilam, Shaab, and Shurta districts.

Turkish strikes killed three members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.) in northern Iraq.
