At least 24 people were killed in recent violence:

Turkish jets targeting Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.) in northern Iraq killed two guerrillas in Sinat-Haftanin and Zap.

Militants killed three civilians in Wardiya.

A two-day operation south of Kirkuk left 14 militants dead.

Airstrikes left five militants dead near Qaim.
