Scattered Attacks across Iraq Leave 26 Killed and 32 Wounded

In Abu Ghraib, a roadside bomb killed one soldier and wounded four more.

Police killed two gunmen and wounded two more who attacked a police station in Ramadi.

A clash near Falluja left four gunmen dead. Seven shells struck the hospital. Ten civilians were seriously wounded in shelling.

Elsewhere:

In Muqdadiya, gunmen killed three women. Two Sahwa members were killed and another was wounded when gunmen attacked their checkpoint. A civilian was killed and two more were wounded in a small arms attack.

Gunmen killed three people, including a civilian, and wounded a soldier in Tikrit.

The bodies of two Sahwa members were found in Shirqat.

A civilian was killed in a Baquba bombing that also wounded a woman and her five-year-old child.

A bomb at a fruit market in Tarmiya left one dead and six wounded.

In Dujail, one policeman was killed and another was wounded in a roadside blast.

Gunmen killed one soldier and wounded another in Qara Tapa.

A bomb expert was killed while trying to defuse a bomb in Mualimeen.

Police killed three gunmen trying to attack the mayor’s office in Jurf al-Sakhar.

In Baghdad, a sticky bomb wounded an employee of the oil ministry.
