18 Killed, 9 Wounded in Shootings and Bombings Across Iraq

In Baghdad, gunmen killed a police colonel. Eight civilians were wounded in a bombing. A sticky bomb killed a government employee.

In Mosul, a bomb killed three policemen. Gunmen killed a soldier. A government official was gunned down. A sticky bomb killed a civilian.

Security forces killed four gunmen west of Samarra.  A bomb killed a policeman.

Two soldiers were killed and a third one was wounded in Hit, when a sticky bomb exploded.

Gunmen stormed a home in Shirqat where they killed a policeman.

A sticky bomb killed a contractor in Rutba.

A gunman was killed in a clash in Baiji.
