58 Killed, 82 Wounded As Suicide Bombers Target Iraq Army Bases

At least 22 soldiers were killed and another 38 more were wounded in a triple suicide bombing at a base in Tarmiya.

In Baghdad, a bomb killed four people and wounded 10 more in Mashtal. Gunmen wounded a policeman in Mansour. Near Jisr Diyala, a bomb killed a civilian and wounded five more.

A roadside bomb in Yathrib killed two women and wounded two men; a third woman may have been killed in this blast. A bomb at a Sahwa member’s home killed six people.

In Mosul, a bomb killed four people, including a civilian, and wounded two more. Gunmen killed two civilians and wounded a woman. A policeman was gunned down as he walked into a restaurant. A bomb killed two soldiers and wounded four more.

A suicide bomber drove into an army base checkpoint in Ana where he killed three soldiers and wounded six more.

Two people were killed and six more were wounded in a blast in Madaen.

A small arms attack left two policemen dead and three more wounded in Tikrit.

In Baquba, a car bomb killed two policemen and wounded a civilian.

Two bombs in Qadisiya wounded three people.

An employee of the Baiji refinery was kidnapped on his way home.
