Women Targeted in Baghdad Among Nine Iraqis Killed

In Baghdad, gunmen killed three women during a home invasion in the Zayouna district.

In Mosul, security commander Lieutenant General Basim al-Taie survived two bomb attacks; the only casualty was a suicide bomber in the later blast. Gunmen killed a contractor.

One policeman was killed and three more were wounded in Falluja when a bomb exploded.

A blast killed a civilian and wounded another in Zaidan.

Two brothers were gunned down in Chemen.
