23 Killed Across Iraq; Mortar Attack on Iranian Dissident Camp

Fresh attacks left 21 Iraqis dead and 12 wounded. Two Iranians were also killed, and 40 more were wounded.

A mortar attack on Camp Liberty killed two Iranian dissidents and wounded 40 more. An Iraqi was also killed when one of the mortars struck a housing complex outside the camp.

In Mosul, a political candidate was assassinated. Gunmen killed an army officer and a lieutenant colonel in separate incidents. Two civilians were killed at two different locations.

A bomb in Ishaqi left two policemen dead and four wounded.

Two policemen were wounded in a blast in Kirkuk.

A bomb in Tikrit killed a policeman and wounded another.

In Dujail, a bomb killed two federal policemen and wounded three more.

In Shirqat, a roadside bomb killed three Sahwa members. A sticky bomb killed a police lieutenant .

A mosque preacher died in a sticky bomb explosion in Ramadi.

A roadside bomb in Hammam al-Alil killed three people and wounded one more.

Three soldiers were killed in a blast in Qaim.

In Baiji, a sticky bomb wounded a policeman.
