Seven Killed in Scattered Iraq Attacks

In Hawar village, a blast killed two policemen and wounded four others.

Two people were killed and two more were wounded in a roadside blast in Madaen.

Two bombs killed a soldier and wounded three policemen in Kanaan.

An I.E.D. in Abu Ghraib killed one policeman and wounded another.

Two people were wounded in a blast in Baquba.

In Baghdad, a sticky bomb wounded two civilians when it exploded in the Adhamiya district.

Gunmen wounded two civilians in a drive-by shooting in Amiriyat al-Falluja.

In Mosul, the Iraqi army positioned itself to take over security from police forces at Ahrar Square, where protests are ongoing.

The military withdrew from Falluja after curfew ended. Ramadi also saw a curfew.
