Twelve Killed Across Iraq

The latest attacks left 12 killed and 14 wounded.

In Baghdad, a bomb killed four people and wounded eight others. Two policemen were killed and four more were wounded in a machine-gun attack. A bomb injured a taxi driver.

A blast near an observation post in Falluja left two soldiers dead and a policeman wounded. Gunmen killed two policemen.

A Dijla Operations brigade commander was killed in Kirkuk. It is the second day in a row a commander from this controversial post has been targeted.

Gunmen killed a commander in the Baaj police force.
