At least six security personnel were killed and six more were wounded in fresh violence.

Three policemen were killed and two more were wounded in a drive-by shooting in Yathrib.

In Rashidiya, gunmen killed a soldier and wounded two more at a checkpoint.

Gunmen killed a Sahwa member in Gatoun.

In Shirqat, a sticky bomb killed a policeman.

A bomb wounded two policemen in Falluja.
