Four Iraqis Killed in Friday Violence

At least four Iraqis were killed and nine more were wounded in new attacks. After a week of increased violence, attacks were reported only in Diyala and Anbar provinces today.

A bomb left on a main street in Baquba wounded six people.

A local chief was killed and three of his relatives were wounded when an I.E.D. exploded out side their home in Jurf al-Milah.

Police tried to arrest a suspect at his Ramadi home, but when they arrived they encountered machine gun fire. A police caption and two policemen were killed.
