In Baghdad, three people were wounded in a bomb blast in Amiriya. A blast wounded two people in the Ghazaliya district. Last night a bomb in Doura wounded one person when it exploded.

Gunmen attacked a Sahwa checkpoint in Abu Ghraib. One was killed and a Sahwa fighter was wounded.

A bomb blast targeting soldiers in Mosul wounded a child.

A suspect was captured in Riyadh. The home of a police official was blown up; he and his son were wounded.

A suspect was killed during a raid in Baaj.

Two suspects were detained in Hawija.

U.S. warplanes conducted a live-fire operation near Amara. The operation was condemned by a parliament member.

No casualties were as yet reported after a U.S. patrol came across a roadside bomb.
