Sunday: 1 British Contractor, 4 Iraqis Killed; 15 Iraqis Wounded

At least four Iraqis were killed and 15 more were wounded in light violence. A British contractor was also killed in a blast in southern Iraq.

A blast near Zubayr killed a Briton and his Iraqi companion.

In Baghdad, a bomb wounded two people in Amin. Nearby, explosives experts found a second bomb, which blew up and wounded two of them. Also in Amil, gunmen wounded a policeman.

A bomb squad was trying to defuse a bomb when it exploded in Ramadi, killing one and wounding three others.

Four people were wounded during a failed attempt to defuse a bomb in Baquba. A sticky bomb attached to a hired vehicle killed one and wounded three others

Gunmen killed a Sahwa member in Kirkuk.

A blast targeting an official in Nasariya left no casualties.
